Notably, national-level speakers have been invited to deliberate on the relevant provisions of NEP 2020 in the context of human resource development programs. Experts will also discuss the capacity building of training institutions and the potential role of NGOs in training qualified personnel in the disability sector.

The outcomes of this workshop are expected to facilitate the effective implementation of the National Education Policy and human resource development programs in the country, specifically targeting the empowerment of persons with disabilities. The Rehabilitation Council of India plans to initiate various national programs that promote flexible education, experiential learning, practical skill-based education, and ultimately, inclusive education.

Through the concerted efforts of RCI and the support and active participation of stakeholders, including professionals, parents, and achievers, India aims to create an inclusive educational landscape that empowers individuals with disabilities and fosters their holistic development.
