Union Minister for Tribal Affairs, Shri Jual Oram, will undertake a four-day visit to Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand from October 1 to 4, 2026, during which he will attend programmes relating to senior citizen welfare, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and tribal education, besides participating in the Uttarakhand Aadi Rangotsav.

On October 1, the Union Minister will travel to Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, where he will attend a programme organised by the Senior Citizen Welfare Association at Pallavapuram. He will thereafter proceed to Ramnagar in Uttarakhand, where he will stay overnight.

On October 2, Shri Oram will attend a Swachh Bharat Abhiyan programme at Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Bazpur, in Uttarakhand. He will subsequently return to Ramnagar for an overnight stay.

On October 3, the Union Minister will visit Kainchidham, including a darshan at the Kainchidham Temple. He will thereafter proceed to Khatima, where he will visit Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Khatima. The Minister will later travel to Rudrapur for an overnight stay.

On October 4, Shri Jual Oram will attend the Uttarakhand Aadi Rangotsav at Khatima. He will return to New Delhi later in the evening.

The visit will provide an opportunity for interaction with local stakeholders and officials on matters concerning tribal education and welfare, particularly through the network of Eklavya Model Residential Schools, as well as participation in programmes aimed at social welfare and community engagement.
