The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment organised an extempore competition on the theme Swachhata as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2026, at the Manan Conference Hall in the Social Justice Ministry in the National Capital here today.

The competition was organised with the objective of promoting awareness about cleanliness and hygiene and highlighting the importance of collective action towards building a cleaner and healthier society.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from senior officers of the Department, who shared their thoughts and perspectives on various aspects of Swachhata.

The speakers highlighted the significance of cleanliness in daily life and emphasised the role of every individual in fostering a culture of cleanliness and civic responsibility.

The competition provided a platform for the officers to express their ideas on Swachhata and reflect on the importance of sustained efforts towards cleanliness and sanitation.

The initiative forms part of the Department’s activities under the Campaign aimed at encouraging active participation and strengthening the spirit of cleanliness, dignity and social responsibility among officials and stakeholders.

The event concluded with appreciation for the enthusiastic participation and active engagement of the officers in the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2026.
