प्रविष्टि तिथि: 20 SEP 2026 9:58PM by PIB Delhi

Rashtriya Sankalp Samaroh under The Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat – 100 Weeks Nasha Mukt Yuva Abhiyan, was organised across more than 1,000 locations across India, witnessing the participation of over 4 lakh youth and citizens. The nationwide mobilisation brought together young people, partner organisations and communities in a collective expression of commitment towards building a Nasha Mukt Bharat.

The programme was organised across 460 MY Bharat Districts, 240 locations of partner organisations of MY Bharat, and more than 300 locations by Spiritual Organisations, Industry Associations and University Associations, creating a broad-based platform for youth and citizens to participate in the Nasha Mukt Yuva movement.

The Rashtriya Sankalp Samaroh centred on the spirit of collective resolve and youth-led participation, with participants coming together for the Nasha Mukt Pledge and Signature Campaign. The programme also encouraged creative and participatory forms of engagement, including youth-led discussions, awareness activities and other local initiatives that brought the message of a Nasha Mukt lifestyle closer to communities

The nationwide mobilisation reflects the growing participation of young people and partner organisations in the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat campaign, which seeks to promote awareness, prevention, healthy choices and positive youth engagement. By bringing together institutions, organisations and communities, the Sankalp Samaroh provided a common platform for reinforcing the importance of informed choices and healthier lifestyles among young people.

The programme forms part of the 100 Weeks Nasha Mukt Yuva Abhiyan, conceived as a sustained youth movement with a focus on prevention, awareness, health, fitness and life skills. The initial activity cycle is structured around three themes—My Health, My Pride; Fit Youth, Addiction-Free Youth; and Life Skills Month—through which youth participation will continue to be encouraged through community-based and youth-centric activities.

The nationwide participation on 20 September follows the mobilisation undertaken on 18 September, when activities under the campaign were organised across institutions and communities. The two-day mobilisation has brought together youth and citizens through pledges, signatures, dialogue and community participation, giving a strong start to the sustained campaign.

The Rashtriya Sankalp Samaroh underscores that building a Nasha Mukt Bharat is a collective endeavour, requiring sustained awareness, positive choices and active participation from young people, institutions and communities.

The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports will continue to facilitate youth-led engagement under the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat – 100 Weeks Nasha Mukt Yuva Abhiyan, encouraging young people to carry the message forward through sustained participation and positive action..
