The upcoming Special Campaign 6.0 builds upon the substantial outcomes achieved during the Special Campaign 5.0 (conducted from 2nd October to 31st October 2025), where DFS achieved all targeted parameters, cleaned over 41,000 sites across the country and generated Rs. 3.20 crore through the disposal of scrap

The Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, along with its attached offices, subordinate organisations and public sector financial institutions, is fully geared up to roll out the Special Campaign 6.0 commencing from 2^nd October 2026. The initiative continues the Government's drive to institutionalise Swachhata and minimise operational pendency across all administrative levels.

To sustain the momentum, DFS maintained its cleanliness and pendency reduction drives throughout the intervening period from November 2025 to August 2026, with monthly progress monitored via the SCDPM portal.

A detailed roadmap for Special Campaign 6.0 has been finalised, and all field offices, banks and financial institutions under the administrative control of DFS have been actively sensitised through dedicated video conferencing sessions and formal communications.
