Funds disbursed by NCDC

National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC), a statutory corporation under administrative control of Ministry of Cooperation, provides financial assistance to cooperative societies across the country. The State-wise and activity-wise details of financial assistance disbursed by NCDC during the last three years is enclosed at Annexure-I & Annexure-II respectively.
NCDC has fixed targets on the basis of its Programme of Activities (PoA), duly approved by Government of India. For the current financial year (FY 2023-24) the target of disbursement is Rs.50,000 crore. As on 31.01.2024, NCDC has exceeded the target and disbursed Rs.56,196 crore to various cooperatives across the country.
NCDC has identified Regions/States wherein cooperative sector needs funding and has accordingly allocated sub-targets to its’ Divisions and Regional Directorates so as to ensure easy access to credit/finance for cooperatives.
