       Sub:       Submission of Application (Offline) for issuance of ECI’s “Authority Letter” to Media persons for coverage of Biennial Election to Bihar Legislative Council from 02 Graduates’ and 02 Teachers’ Constituencies and bye election to Bihar Legislative Council from Saran Teachers’ Constituency and Biennial Elections to Legislative Councils of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana by members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs).

 

Sir/Madam,

           Applications are invited from Delhi-based Media persons for ECI’s “Authority Letter” for coverage of Polling and Counting during Biennial Election to Bihar Legislative Council from 02 Graduates’ and 02 Teachers’ Constituencies and bye election to Bihar Legislative Council from Saran Teachers’ Constituency and Biennial Elections to Legislative Councils of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana by members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs).

The polling for Biennial Election to Bihar Legislative Council from 02 Graduates’ and 02 Teachers’ Constituencies and bye election to Bihar Legislative Council from Saran Teachers’ Constituency and Biennial Elections to Legislative Councils of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana by members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) on 23.3.2023(Thursday) & 31.3.2023 (Friday) and counting on 23.3.2023(Thursday) & 5.4. 2023(Wednesday) (Pl. see ECIs press releases dated 27^th February, 2023 for dates).

           Delhi-based PIB accredited correspondents/camerapersons are requested to contact Room No. 203 & 307, National Media Centre (Ph. 9654531754; 9999082867, 23488065 & 9868245800) to fill up a form (copy attached) specifying full particulars of name and organization along with two stamp size photographs for collecting the requisite Authority slips.

           All application forms duly signed and endorsed by the Editor/ Chief of Bureau should reach the undersigned by 22.03.2023.

 

            Pl.  note that the said authority letter to enter a “Counting Centre” does not entitle one to enter a “Counting Hall”. Access to Counting Hall will be governed by instructions issued Vide Commission’s letter No. 491/CNTG/MCS/99 dated 21.09.1999.
