Finance and Appropriation Accounts of the Government of Rajasthan Forwarded by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India to the State Government

The Finance Accounts and Appropriation Accounts of the Government of Rajasthan for the year 2025-26 have been forwarded to the State Government on 26 October, 2026 for laying in the State Legislature.

Under the Comptroller and Auditor General's (Duties, Powers and Conditions of Service) Act, 1971, the CAG of India prepares Finance Accounts of the State Governments each year, showing the year's receipts and disbursements for the State. Along with this, the CAG also compiles Appropriation Accounts for the State Government showing the excess or savings under each grant or appropriation as passed by the Legislature. Both these accounts are submitted to the State Government for being laid before the State Legislature.
