During the operation, three accused persons were arrested with 100 grams of MD (methamphetamine). A Hyundai Accent car bearing registration number GJ 01 RE 9547 was also seized in connection with the case.

According to the preliminary investigation, the accused were procuring MD from the Dangiyawas area of Jodhpur and supplying it for sale in Anand and Surendranagar districts of Gujarat. Investigations are also underway to examine the possible involvement of certain individuals associated with the operation of SPA centres and other activities in Anand and Surendranagar in the wider network.

The arrested accused have been identified as:

  1. Gopal, son of Shaila Bhai, resident of Surendranagar, Gujarat.
  2. Surendra Acharya, son of Ashok Kumar, resident of Barmer, Rajasthan.
  3. Hanumana Ram, son of Bhana Ram, resident of Benad Road, Rajasthan.

This action, carried out during the auspicious occasion of Navratri, reflects NCB Jodhpur's vigilance and firm resolve to prevent drug traffickers from targeting young people.
