Coconut Development Board Invites Applications for National Coconut Awards 2026

Kochi, 01 October 2026: The Coconut Development Board (CDB) has invited applications for the National Coconut Awards 2026, to be conferred during the 62nd Session of the International Coconut Community (ICC) and Ministerial Meeting, proposed to be hosted by India in November 2026.
The awards will recognize outstanding contributions to the coconut sector in the following three categories:
1. Best National Coconut Farmer
2. Best Coconut Scientist/Researcher
3. Best Coconut Entrepreneur
Eligible Indian farmers, scientists/researchers and entrepreneurs may apply under the respective categories in accordance with the prescribed eligibility criteria and by submitting the required documentary evidence. Applications will be accepted online only.
The last date for submission of applications is 15 October 2026. Detailed guidelines, eligibility criteria and application forms are available on the Coconut Development Board website https://coconutboard.gov.in/docs/news/award26/award26.htm.
The awards are aimed at recognising and encouraging outstanding contributions to coconut cultivation, research, innovation, value addition, processing and entrepreneurship, and at highlighting exemplary achievements in the coconut sector. Eligible farmers, scientists/researchers and entrepreneurs may make use of this opportunity and submit their applications before 15th October 2026.
