Nation-wide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 5.0 & 2nd Quarterly Pension Adalat for 2026-27 for DoT & BSNL Pensioners of Odisha

The Digital Life Certificate Camp at the office of the General Manager, BSNL, Balasore was successfully conducted by the Office of the Controller of Communication Accounts (CCA), Department of Telecommunications, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, on 23.09.2026 as part of the Nation-wide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 5.0.


The 2nd Quarterly Pension Adalat for the year 2026-27 for DoT and BSNL pensioners of Odisha was also conducted on 23.09.2026 in hybrid mode. The Adalat was chaired by Shri P. K. Mohapatra, General Manager, BSNL, Balasore, while Shri Sukanta Kumar Das, Deputy Controller, attended the programme online.
At the outset, Shri Gadadhar Swain, Senior Accounts Officer, welcomed the participants. Pensioners and family pensioners from nearby areas, along with office bearers of various Pensioners’ Associations, attended the programme.
Addressing the gathering, Shri P. K. Mohapatra, GM, Balasore, appreciated the initiatives undertaken by the CCA Office for reaching out to pensioners through Pension Adalats and Life Certificate/Digital Life Certificate (LC/DLC) Camps organised at various locations across the State.
Shri Sukanta Kumar Das, Deputy Controller, apprised the participants of various initiatives undertaken by the CCA Office, including the regular organisation of Pension Adalats and State-wide LC/DLC Camps for hassle-free submission of life certificates and payment of pension. He also highlighted for resolving pension-related grievances through dedicated WhatsApp groups and requested the pensioners to provide their feedback and suggestions for further improvement in the services being provided by the CCA Office.
No grievance had been received in advance for consideration in the Adalat. However, several issues raised by pensioners on the spot were promptly examined and addressed by the officers of the Pension Section. The issues included change of pension bank account, change of nominee, and amendments in e-PPOs, such as correction of date of birth and spelling of names, among others.
The participants were further apprised of the integration of SAMPANN with DigiLocker, which facilitates convenient access to pension-related documents and services.
The pensioners who attended the Adalat expressed their satisfaction with the proceedings and appreciated the prompt attention given to their issues by the CCA team. The presence and active participation of senior officers from BSNL also contributed to making the programme more meaningful and effective. The Adalat concluded with a vote of thanks.
