AIC ANUSHAKTI signs 22 BARC technology transfer agreements with industry

AIC BARC ANUSHAKTI FOUNDATION (AIC ANUSHAKTI) had organised Technology Transfer & Incubation Agreement Signing, Product Launch and Certificate Distribution Ceremony, in association with Technology Transfer and Collaboration Division on Wednesday, Sept 09, 2026.

The event witnessed 22 technology transfer agreements, 2 incubation agreements and 3 product launches. (Details available at (www.aicanushakti.org). Technologies transferred included, hydrogen mitigation system for reactors, Tele ECG, Textile effluent decolouring system, Boron carbide production and bio waste converters.
During the event, Dr. A.K. Dureja, Director, Knowledge Management Group (KMG), BARC gave an overview of activities of AIC ANUSHAKTI and TT&CD, KMG, BARC. Dr S. Gautam Head, Food Technology Division (FTD), BARC presented an overview of food technologies and food Irradiator.
The program included a lively and interactive feedback session, wherein industry licensees shared their journey of first prototype development and handholding and support provided by BARC. They also shared their vision to enhance the product, under incubation, as per market requirement and commercialise their product. Interaction with technology experts from BARC was arranged to understand the intricacies of the technology.
About AIC Anushakti:
AIC Anushakti is the technology translation arm of BARC and transfers licenses for commercialisation of BARC technologies. It also takes up value addition of these technologies under in house incubation. Collaborative incubation for innovative ideas from industry is also taken up where BARC mentorship is also provided. BARC also runs a dedicated rural entrepreneurship development program - AKRUTI.
AIC ANUSHAKTI is established under the ambit of Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog to enable the start-up eco system of the country by commercialisation of spin-off technologies of the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), the premier multi-disciplinary R&D Centre of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE).
