National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar, organized a Felicitation Ceremony on Tuesday to honor Prof. Jayrajsinh Sarvaiya, Dean of Forensic Pharmacy and Centre Head for Drug and Food Forensics, who has recently received the prestigious National Award for Best Teacher in Higher Education Institutions by the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, during the Teachers’ Day function in New Delhi.

Padma Shri Awardee, Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU, felicitated Prof. Sarvaiya in recognition of his distinguished achievement. On this occasion, Dr. J.M. Vyas remarked: “Prof. Sarvaiya’s dedication to forensic pharmacy and his pioneering contributions in drug and food forensics have brought immense pride to NFSU. His recognition at the national level is a testament to the University’s academic excellence and commitment to nation‑building.”

Expressing his gratitude, Prof. Jayrajsinh Sarvaiya said: “Receiving this award from the Hon’ble President of India is a humbling honor. For this, I express my special gratitude to the 'Padma Shri' awardee, Vice Chancellor of NFSU, Dr. J.M. Vyas. I dedicate this achievement to my students, colleagues, and NFSU, which has always encouraged innovation and excellence in teaching and research.”
