Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027: MY Bharat Calls Upon Youth Across Tripura to Participate in Large Numbers

Agartala, 7 September 2026: The Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, has launched the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027, a nationwide youth engagement initiative aimed at providing young citizens with an opportunity to participate in the nation-building process and contribute their ideas towards the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
The Viksit Bharat Quiz marks the first stage of VBYLD 2027. The Quiz, which is being conducted from 17 August to 30 September 2026, provides young citizens across the country an opportunity to participate in this national youth engagement initiative.
The MY Bharat, Tripura, has appealed to young citizens across all eight districts of the State—West Tripura, Sepahijala, Khowai, Gomati, South Tripura, Dhalai, Unakoti and North Tripura—to participate in the Viksit Bharat Quiz in large numbers. Educational institutions, colleges, universities, youth clubs and other stakeholders are also requested to create awareness about the programme and motivate eligible youth to participate.
VBYLD 2027 seeks to provide young citizens with opportunities to engage with the vision of Viksit Bharat and contribute their ideas and perspectives towards the nation's development. Following the Quiz, the programme will progress through various stages, including the Viksit Bharat Essay Challenge, District Championships, State/UT VBYLD and the National Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue in New Delhi. Selected youth will also get an opportunity to present their ideas before the Prime Minister.

The MY Bharat, Tripura, urges maximum participation of youth from every district of the State so that the voices, ideas and aspirations of Tripura's young population become an integral part of the journey towards a Viksit Bharat.
Educational institutions, youth organisations, print and electronic media, and digital platforms are encouraged to disseminate information about the programme widely to maximise awareness and participation among the youth of Tripura.
