Regional Office of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Raipur, organised a series of sports and fitness activities from August 28 to 30, 2026, as part of the nationwide observance of National Sports Day. Officers and employees of the office participated enthusiastically in various sporting events, promoting fitness, sportsmanship and a healthy lifestyle.

The activities included skipping, lemon-and-spoon race, arm wrestling, basketball for women and a cycle rally. The participation of officials and employees reflected enthusiasm, team spirit and a strong commitment to promoting physical fitness in the workplace.

On August 30, the concluding day of the programme, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I Jayvardhan Ingle flagged off the cycle rally. Officers and employees of the Regional Office participated in the rally with enthusiasm, contributing to the successful conduct of the programme.

The initiative underscored the importance of physical activity, healthy living and sportsmanship among employees, in keeping with the spirit of National Sports Day.
