The Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (DCPC), Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, today proudly observed the “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign on the eve of the Independence Day at Kartavya Bhawan, New Delhi, reaffirming the nation's spirit of patriotism, unity and collective responsibility towards nation-building.

The event was led by Sh. Tejveer Singh, Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (DCPC) who, along with senior officers and officials of the Department, paid tribute to the freedom fighters and saluted the spirit of India's unity and progress.

The DCPC Secretary, called upon all citizens to celebrate Independence Day with a renewed commitment to national unity, prosperity and inclusive development.

He highlighted the significance of this year as the nation commemorates 150 years of the National Song, "Vande Mataram," and urged everyone to hoist the National Flag at their homes under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, reaffirming their dedication to nation-building.

The celebrations included a group photograph and selfies at the designated selfie point, symbolising collective pride in the Tricolour and the nation's democratic values.

The event was attended by Sh. Deepankar Aron, Joint Secretary Chemical Division, Dr. G. Venkatesh, Joint Secretary, Petrochemical Division, Sh. Manoj Sethi, Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ms Divya Parmar, Economic Advisor and other officers and staff of the Department.

The Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign was also observed across all field offices, autonomous bodies and institutions under the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET), reflecting the widespread participation of the Department's institutions in celebrating the national movement.

As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga celebrations, Tiranga Rallies were organised at various campuses of CIPET and other autonomous bodies under the Department.

During the events dignitaries, officers and participants also joined in a rendition of "Vande Mataram," reinforcing the spirit of patriotism and national pride.
