As part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign ahead of Independence Day, Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) organised a Tiranga Rally from its Headquarters in Nagpur today, with enthusiastic participation from officers and employees.

The programme began with the collective singing of Vande Mataram. Addressing the gathering, WCL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Dr. Hemant Sharad Pande highlighted the significance of the National Flag and paid tribute to the freedom fighters for their sacrifices. He urged citizens to hoist the Tricolour at their homes under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. Emphasising WCL's contribution to nation-building, he said the company plays a vital role in strengthening the country's energy security through coal production.

Dr. Pande flagged off and led the Tiranga Rally, which passed through Civil Lines and Telangkhedi before returning to WCL Headquarters. Holding the National Flag and raising patriotic slogans, participants spread the message of patriotism, national unity and pride.

Director (Finance) Shri Bikram Ghosh, Director (Technical/Operations) Shri Sandeep Paranjape, Chief Vigilance Officer Shri Ajay Madhukar Mhetre, and other senior officials also participated in the rally.
