As part of the Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam 2026, commemorating six years of the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, a three-day exhibition on the Indian Knowledge Tradition has been organised at Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya (MGAHV), Wardha. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kumud Sharma, at the Swami Sahajanand Saraswati Museum, located in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhavan on the University campus, on 4 August 2026. The exhibition will remain open to visitors till 6 August 2026.

The inaugural programme was attended by Registrar Kadar Nawaz Khan, Controller of Examinations Dr. Surendra Gadewar, Finance Officer P. Sardar Singh, Proctor Dr. Rakesh Mishra, Prof. Kripashankar Chaubey of the Department of Mass Communication, Dean of the School of Law Prof. Janardan Kumar Tiwari, along with faculty members, research scholars and students in large numbers.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kumud Sharma appreciated the exhibition for showcasing India's rich intellectual and literary heritage through rare manuscripts and archival collections, and said that such initiatives play an important role in connecting the younger generation with the country's enduring knowledge traditions.

Museum In-charge Dr. Amit Vishwas briefed the visitors on the rare manuscripts, historic journals and other valuable archival materials displayed in the exhibition.

The exhibition features an invaluable collection of manuscripts and periodicals of historical significance dating from the nineteenth century to the present day, preserved in the University's museum. These rare literary treasures offer visitors a unique opportunity to experience the living legacy of India's literary and intellectual traditions.

Among the notable exhibits are manuscripts of Hanuman Bahuk, Vijay Dohavali, Vinay Patrika (annotated edition), Shodash Ramayan, and Kundaliya Ramayan, along with thousands of other important manuscripts preserved by the University. These collections reflect the richness of India's literary and cultural heritage and provide valuable insights into the evolution of Hindi literature and the Indian knowledge tradition.

The exhibition highlights the University's efforts to preserve and promote India's literary heritage through its museum collections. The University has appealed to teachers, students and researchers from schools and colleges to visit the exhibition and benefit from this unique repository of India's cultural and intellectual legacy.
