The “Meri Samiti Mera Patal” is an initiative which has been independently conceptualized and launched by Regional Institute of Cooperative Management (RICM), Chandigarh under National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT). The objective of the “Meri Samiti – Mera Patal” is to empower and modernize Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) by addressing their training needs, improving governance, and enhancing visibility.

This initiative facilitates creation of digital profiling of PACS and centralized, transparent, real-time data system to support informed decision-making. The implementation covers the jurisdiction of RICM Chandigarh, covering Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi, Chandigarh, and Leh-Ladakh by RICM Chandigarh.

At present there is no such proposal to expand this portal across the country.

The following tangible benefits are expected in the implemented areas for PACS/ Multi-purpose Cooperative Societies (MPCS) under this initiative:

• Identity and Transparency: Each PACS/MPCS expects to have a digital profile showcasing its history, membership, services offered, schemes availed, and governance structure.
• Public Visibility: The initiative expects to enhance the visibility of PACS/MPCS in the public domain.
• Real-time Data Transparency: The initiative expects to promote transparency by enabling access to real-time data.
