Fit India Sundays on Cycle Marks 75th Edition in Mumbai, Promotes Commonwealth Games 2030 Bharat Vision

Mumbai, May 24: Sports Authority of India (SAI), Regional Centre Mumbai, organised the 75th edition of “Fit India – Sundays on Cycle” at Bharat Petroleum Staff Housing Society, Azadnagar, Chembur, in collaboration with BPCL FitDivaz. The special edition celebrated Bharat’s vision to host the Commonwealth Games 2030 while promoting fitness, cycling culture, women empowerment and community participation under the Fit India Movement.
The cycling rally commenced at 7:00 AM with enthusiastic participation from cyclists, fitness enthusiasts, youth and women participants from across Mumbai.

The event was graced by distinguished sportspersons and dignitaries including Ms. Madhurika Patkar, International Table Tennis Player and Arjuna Awardee; Ms. Saba Anjum Karim, International Hockey Player and Arjuna Awardee; Ms. Radhika Khanna, Brand Ambassador, BPCL FitDivaz; Mr. Deepak Jain, Chief General Manager – Sports, BPCL; and Shri Ankit Patil, Assistant Director, SAI Mumbai.

Addressing participants, the athletes encouraged citizens to adopt cycling and fitness as a way of life and contribute towards building a healthier and fitter Bharat. Officials highlighted that the Fit India Movement continues to strengthen nationwide awareness towards wellness, active living and community-driven fitness initiatives.
Officials from SAI RC Mumbai said the Fit India Movement continues to promote fitness through community participation and regular initiatives. The 75th edition of Sundays on Cycle reflected the growing commitment towards health, wellness and active living. The collaboration with BPCL FitDivaz also highlighted the role of women-led fitness initiatives and corporate participation in promoting sports and wellness. The event concluded with an enthusiastic response from participants, reaffirming support for the vision of Fit India and Commonwealth Games 2030 in Bharat.
