Indian Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) organized Convocation on 23rd May 2026 at 23 locations across the country including Chennai at Kalaivanar Arangam. Newly qualified Chartered Accountants around 9060 including the Rank Holders were awarded the Certificate of Membership all over India. 

Chief Guest Shri. Challa Sreenivasulu Setty, Chairman, SBI addressed the gathering. Prasanna Kumar D, President, ICAI addressed the gathering and administered Oath to the newly qualified Chartered Accountants. Mangesh Pandurang Kinare, Vice President, ICAI also addressed the gathering.  The Inaugural session was live telecasted through video conferencing across all 23 centers from Mumbai. 

In Chennai Centre, 450 newly qualified Chartered Accountants were awarded the Certificate of Membership and 10 Rank Holders were felicitated by Rajendra Kumar P, Central Council Member of ICAI, Convenor of Members and Students Services Directorate of ICAI and Convocation Coordinator and K. Sripriya, Central Council Member of ICAI & Convocation Coordinator.
