Passport Mela to be organised Across West Bengal on April 18
Special Drive at 11 Passport Centres including Kolkata, over 2,400 Appointments to be Facilitated

A special Passport Mela will be organised on April 18, 2026 across multiple Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) and Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSKs) in West Bengal to facilitate passport-related services to citizens.
The Passport Mela will be held at 11 locations, including PSK Kolkata and POPSKs at Asansol, Barrackpore, Beadon Street, Howrah, Serampore, Bardhaman, Chinsurah, Dumdum, Jadavpur and Kharagpur.
It is a large-scale citizen outreach initiative which will cater to a total of over 2,400 appointments, including:
1. PSK Kolkata: 2,000 appointments
2. Each POPSK location: 40 appointments
The initiative aims to provide faster and more accessible passport services to citizens by expanding outreach through multiple centres across the State.
Applicants are required to apply online and obtain an Application Reference Number (ARN). Besides, they will have to book an appointment through the official portal- www.passportindia.gov.in
The applicants will have to pay passport fee through the online payment system.
Only those applicants who have secured confirmed online appointments for April 18, 2026 will be allowed to avail services during the Passport Mela.
Applicants will have to carry:
1. ARN receipt (printout)
2. Original and self-attested photocopies of:
3. Proof of identity
4. Proof of address
5. Proof of date of birth
Detailed information on required documents is available on the official website.
Walk-in applications will not be accepted. Tatkal and Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) applications will not be processed
On-hold cases will also not be entertained
The Passport Mela will cater only to Normal Category applications (Fresh/Re-issue).
