FCI Invites Bids for Sale of Rice under Open Market Sale Scheme (Domestic) through E-Auction

Food Corporation of India (FCI), Regional Office Maharashtra, has invited proposals for the sale of rice stocks through e-auction under the Open Market Sale Scheme (Domestic) [OMSS(D)] under a dedicated movement arrangement.
Interested bulk consumers and traders may participate in the e-auction process by registering themselves with FCI’s authorized e-auction service provider, Mjunction Services Limited at: https://www.valuejunction.in/fci/.
For the upcoming e-auctions scheduled on March 25, 2026 and March 26, 2026 a total quantity of 50000 metric tonnes of rice from Maharashtra region is being offered. Additionally, 40000 metric tonnes of non FRK Custom Milled Rice (CMR) including 10% broken rice is being made available under the dedicated movement scheme. This includes 10000 metric tonnes from Punjab and 30000 metric tonnes from Andhra Pradesh.
A registered bidder may place bids for a minimum quantity of 2650 metric tonnes in the e-auction. Successful bidders will be required to inform the destination point to the General Manager (Region) for further movement and delivery arrangements.
The Open Market Sale Scheme (Domestic) is aimed at augmenting the supply of food grains in the open market and helping in moderating the rising prices.
