The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Regional Office, Ahmedabad (Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India), is organizing a “Special Service Fortnight” from 24 February 2026 to 10 March 2026 on the occasion of the 75th Foundation Year of ESIC. During this fortnight, all ESIC offices in the Gujarat region are conducting a special drive to provide better services to insured persons, beneficiaries, and workers. As part of this campaign, Suvidha Samagams are being organized to address difficulties related to pending and current benefit payments and to resolve related grievances.

In this regard, a Suvidha Samagam was organized on 05 March 2026 at ESIC Model Hospital, Bapunagar, Ahmedabad. The programme was attended by Shri Gautam Kumar, Joint Director, Dr. Shahid Malek, State Medical Officer, Dr. Swetal Pastagia, Medical Superintendent (In-charge), Shri Vivek Awasthi, Deputy Director, Shri Shyam Sundar, Assistant Director, along with other officials.

During the Suvidha Samagam, insured persons and employers present in the programme put forward their issues and grievances, which were addressed and resolved in detail by the officials. In addition, all the insured persons and employers were also informed about the provisions of the Code on Social Security, 2020 and various schemes of ESIC.

Around 50 insured persons, beneficiaries, and employers participated in the Suvidha Samagam and appreciated this initiative.
