Chennai City Region celebrated the distribution of “Regional Excellence Awards 2024–25” on 23rd February 2026 at Victoria Public Hall, in Chennai.

Dr. T. Sankara Saravanan, Principal, CECC, Government of Tamil Nadu and Honorary Adviser, Tamil Nadu Textbook and Educational Services Corporation, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and presented the awards to the awardees.

Major Manoj M., Director Postal Services, Chennai City Region, delivered the Welcome Address. Shri G. Natarajan, Postmaster General, Chennai City Region, presided over the function and delivered the Presidential Address.

The Chief Guest addressed the gathering and shared his thoughts with the postal fraternity, appreciating the dedication and committed service rendered by the officers and staff of the Department of Posts.

During the Financial Year 2024–25, the consistent efforts and outstanding performance of the Divisions, officers and staff of Chennai City Region in achieving targets across various disciplines were identified and recognised. A total of 262 awards under 77 categories were presented in recognition of their exemplary performance and contribution.

Shri Babu. G, Assistant Director (Business Development), Chennai City Region delivered the Vote of Thanks and the function concluded on a positive note.
