The Army Institute of Technology, Pune has been conferred with the Engineering Education Excellence Award 2025 by the Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI), marking a significant national endorsement of its sustained contribution to quality engineering education. The award, instituted by India’s apex professional body for engineers, recognizes institutions that demonstrate consistent academic excellence, innovation and alignment with national priorities.

The award was presented on 19 December 2025 at the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, during a national-level ceremony attended by eminent academicians, industry leaders and representatives of leading engineering institutions. The recognition places AIT Pune among a select group of institutions that have met IEI’s rigorous benchmarks for engineering education.

This conferment reflects AIT Pune’s long-standing emphasis on academic rigour, modern pedagogical practices, faculty development and strong industry engagement.
