The “Aapki Punji Aapka Adhikar” financial awareness camp will be organized on 05 December 2025 at 11:00 AM across four districts of Bastar—Bijapur, Kanker, Narayanpur and Sukma. The initiative aims to enhance financial literacy, promote responsible banking practices, and ensure that citizens are aware of their entitlements under various financial inclusion schemes of the Government of India.
The camp in Bijapur will be held at the District Collector Office Premises, while in Kanker the venue will be the Jila Panchayat Meeting Hall. In Narayanpur, the programme will take place at the D.P.R.C. Building near the Jila Panchayat, and in Sukma it will be organized at the Jila Panchayat Meeting Hall. The programme is designed to benefit rural households, women’s self-help groups, students, unorganized workers, and economically vulnerable sections of society.
During the camp, representatives from various government departments, banking institutions and financial literacy teams will provide on-the-spot facilitation and counselling. Citizens will be guided on opening bank accounts, Aadhaar seeding, digital transactions, and accessing schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), and Atal Pension Yojana (APY). Awareness sessions will also be conducted on safe banking practices, cyber security, savings and investment, as well as grievance redressal mechanisms.
The Government of India urges citizens of all four districts of Chhattisgarh to participate in the camp and avail the services offered under the “Aapki Punji Aapka Adhikar” initiative, aimed at strengthening financial inclusion and empowering individuals through knowledge and access to formal financial systems.
