Siyavar Ram Chandar ki Jai!

Siyavar Ram Chandar ki Jai!

Jai Siyaram!

Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel Ji, the most revered Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Dr. Mohan Bhagwat ji, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath ji, President of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, revered Mahant Nritya Gopal Das ji, revered saint community, all the devotees present here, crores of Ram devotees from the country and the world who are witnessing this historic moment, ladies and gentlemen!

Today, the city of Ayodhya is witnessing another turning point in India's cultural consciousness. Today, all of India, the entire world, is filled with the divine presence of Ram. There are unparalleled contentment, boundless gratitude, and immense supernatural joy in the heart of every devotee of Ram. The wounds of centuries are healing, the pain of centuries is finding an end today, the resolution of centuries is achieving success today. Today marks the final offering of a yajna whose fire burned for 500 years. The Yajna which did not waver in faith even for a moment, did not break its belief even for a moment. Today, the infinite energy of the sanctum sanctorum of Lord Shri Ram, the divine glory of the Shri Ram family, has been established in the form of this Dharma flag, in this most divine, most magnificent temple.

And friends,

This Dharma Dhwaja is not just a flag; it is the flag of the renaissance of Indian civilization. Its saffron color, the fame of the Surya Vansh inscribed on it, the Om word inscribed on it, and the Kovidar tree inscribed on it represent the glory of Ram Rajya. This flag is a resolution; this flag is a success. This flag is a saga of creation through struggle; this flag is the embodiment of dreams that have been cherished for centuries. This flag is the meaningful culmination of the spiritual practice of saints and the participation of society.

Friends,

For centuries and millennia to come, this Dharmadhwaj will proclaim the ideals and principles of Lord Ram. This Dharmadhwaj will call out – सत्यमेव जयते नानृतं! That is, victory is always of truth, not of falsehood. This Dharmadhwaj will proclaim – सत्यम्-एकपदं ब्रह्म सत्ये धर्मः प्रतिष्ठितः। That is, truth itself is the form of Brahma, religion is established in truth only. This Dharmadhwaj will become an inspiration - प्राण जाए पर वचन न जाहीं। That is, whatever is said, should be done. This Dharmadhwaj will give the message – कर्म प्रधान विश्व रचि राखा! That is, there should be primacy of action and duty in the world. This Dharmadhwaj will wish - बैर न बिग्रह आस न त्रासा। सुखमय ताहि सदा सब आसा॥ That is, there should be freedom from discrimination, pain and suffering, peace and happiness in the society. This Dharmadhwaj will make us resolve – नहिं दरिद्र कोउ दुखी न दीना। That is, we should create a society where there is no poverty, no one is unhappy or helpless.

Friends,

It is said in our scriptures – आरोपितं ध्वजं दृष्ट्वा, ये अभिनन्दन्ति धार्मिकाः। ते अपि सर्वे प्रमुच्यन्ते, महा पातक कोटिभिः॥ That is, those people who are unable to come to the temple due to some reason, and salute the flag of the temple from a distance, they also get the same virtue.

Friends,

This Dharmadhwaj also symbolizes the aim of this temple. This flag will provide a glimpse of Ram Lalla's birthplace from afar. And, it will convey the orders and inspirations of Lord Shri Ram to all human beings for ages to come.

Friends,

I extend my heartfelt greetings to crores of Ram devotees across the world on this unforgettable moment, this unique occasion. Today, I also salute all those devotees and express my gratitude to every philanthropist who contributed to the construction of the Ram Temple. I congratulate every labourer, every artisan, every planner, every architect, everyone involved in the construction of Ram Temple.

Friends,

Ayodhya is the land where ideals transform into conduct. This is the city where Shri Ram began his life's journey. This Ayodhya showed the world how a person, through the power of society and its values, becomes the best man. When Shri Ram went to exile from Ayodhya, he was Prince Ram, but when he returned, he came as Maryada Purushottam. And in his becoming Maryada Purushottam, the knowledge of Maharishi Vashistha, the initiation of Maharishi Vishwamitra, the guidance of Maharishi Agastya, the friendship of Nishadraj, the love of Mother Shabari, the dedication of devotee Hanuman, all these and countless such people have played an important role.

Friends,

This same collective power of the society is needed to build a developed India. I am very happy that this divine courtyard of the Ram Temple is also becoming a place of consciousness of India's collective strength. Seven temples have been built here. The temple of Mata Shabari has been built here, who is the embodiment of the love and hospitality tradition of the tribal society. The temple of Nishad Raj has been built here, it is a witness to that friendship which worships the end, its spirit, not the means. Here in one place, there is Mata Ahalya, Maharishi Valmiki, Maharishi Vashistha, Maharishi Vishwamitra, Maharishi Agastya, and Saint Tulsidas. Along with Ram Lalla, all these sages can also be seen here. There are also idols of Jatayu ji and squirrel here, which show the importance of every small effort for the accomplishment of big resolutions. Today, I would like to urge every citizen of the country that whenever they visit the Ram Temple, they should also visit the Sapta Mandir. These temples strengthen our faith as well as the values of friendship, duty and social harmony.

Friends,

We all know that our Ram connects not with distinctions but with feelings. For him, it's not a person's lineage that matters, but their devotion. He loves values, not lineage. He values cooperation, not power. Today, we too are moving forward with the same spirit. In the last 11 years, every section of society—women, Dalits, backward classes, extremely backward classes, tribals, the deprived, farmers, workers, youth—has been placed at the center of development. When every person, every section, every region of the country is empowered, then everyone's efforts will be put into achieving the resolution. And with everyone's efforts, we will have to build a developed India by 2047, when the country will celebrate 100 years of independence.

Friends,

On the historic occasion of the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla, I had discussed the nation's resolve with Ram. I had said that we have to strengthen the foundation of India for the next thousand years. We have to remember that those who think only about the present do injustice to future generations. We must think about the present as well as future generations. Because, when we were not there, this country existed even then, when we will not be there, this country will still exist. We are a vibrant society, and we must act with vision. We have to keep in mind the coming decades, the coming centuries.

and friends,

For this also we will have to learn from Lord Ram. We have to understand his personality, we have to imbibe his behavior, we have to remember, Ram means ideal, Ram means dignity, Ram means the highest character of life. Ram means the confluence of truth and bravery, “दिव्यगुणैः शक्रसमो रामः सत्यपराक्रमः।” Ram means a personality following the path of religion, “रामः सत्पुरुषो लोके सत्यः सत्यपरायणः।” Ram means keeping the happiness of the people paramount, प्रजा सुखत्वे चंद्रस्य। Ram means the river of patience and forgiveness “वसुधायाः क्षमागुणैः”। Ram means the pinnacle of knowledge and wisdom, बुद्धया बृहस्पते: तुल्यः। Ram means firmness in softness, “मृदुपूर्वं च भाषते”। Ram means – the supreme example of gratitude, “कदाचन नोपकारेण, कृतिनैकेन तुष्यति।” Ram means - selection of best company, शील वृद्धै: ज्ञान वृद्धै: वयो वृद्धै: च सज्जनैः। Ram means- great strength in humility, वीर्यवान्न च वीर्येण, महता स्वेन विस्मितः। Ram means unshakable determination of truth, “न च अनृत कथो विद्वान्”। Ram means conscious, disciplined and honest mind, “निस्तन्द्रिः अप्रमत्तः च, स्व दोष पर दोष वित्।”

Friends,

Ram is not just a person, Ram is a value, a dignity, a direction. If India has to be developed by the year 2047, if the society has to be made powerful, then we will have to awaken the “Ram” within us. We have to establish the Ram within us, and which could be the better day than today to make this resolution?

Friends,

This historic day of November 25th brings another wonderful moment of pride in our heritage. The reason for this is the Kovidar tree inscribed on the Dharma Dhwaja. This Kovidar tree is an example of the fact that when we are cut off from our roots, our glory gets buried in the pages of history.

Friends,

When Bharata arrived at Chitrakoot with his army, Lakshmana recognized the army of Ayodhya from afar. Valmiki has described how this happened, and what Valmiki has described is this: विराजति उद्गत स्कन्धम्, कोविदार ध्वजः रथे।। Lakshmana says, "O Rama, the flag that looks like a huge tree in the bright light ahead is the flag of the army of Ayodhya, and it bears the auspicious symbol of Kovidar."

Friends,

Today, when the Kovidar is being re-established in the courtyard of the Ram Temple, it is not just the return of a tree, it is the return of our memory, the renaissance of our identity, the re-proclamation of our self-respecting civilization. The Kovidar tree reminds us that when we forget our identity, we lose ourselves. And when identity returns, the nation's self-confidence also returns. And so, I say, if the country is to progress, it must be proud of its heritage.

Friends,

Along with pride in our heritage, another important thing is complete liberation from the mentality of slavery. 190 years ago, 190 years ago, in the year 1835, an Englishman named Macaulay sowed the seeds of uprooting India from its roots. Macaulay laid the foundation of mental slavery in India. Ten years later, i.e. in 2035, 200 years will be completed since that unholy incident. Just a few days ago, I urged at a program that for the next ten years, we must move forward with the goal of liberating India from the mentality of slavery.

Friends,

The greatest misfortune is that the impact of Macaulay's vision has been far more widespread. We got independence, but did not get freedom from inferiority complex. A perversion has come into our country that everything, every system in foreign countries is good, and our own things are full of flaws.

Friends,

It is this mentality of slavery which has continuously established that we took democracy from foreign countries, it was said that our Constitution is also inspired from abroad, whereas the truth is that India is the mother of democracy, democracy is in our DNA.

Friends,

If you go to Tamil Nadu, there's a village called Uttiramerur in northern Tamil Nadu. There is an inscription there from thousands of years ago. It explains how the governance system functioned democratically even during that period and how people elected the government. But here, we have always been adamant about praising the Magna Carta. Here, information about Lord Basavanna and his Anubhava Mantapa was also kept limited. Anubhava Mantapa, where public debates on social, religious, and economic issues took place, and where decisions were made through collective consensus. However, due to the slave mentality, many generations of Indians were deprived of this knowledge.

Friends,

This mentality of slavery was ingrained in every corner of our system. You remember, the flag of the Indian Navy, for centuries there were symbols on that flag which had no connection with our civilization, our power, our heritage. Now, we have removed every symbol of slavery from the Navy flag. We have established the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. And this wasn't just a design change; it was a moment of mindset change. It was a declaration that India would now be defined by its own strength, its own symbols, and not by someone else's legacy.

And friends,

The same change is visible in Ayodhya today also.

Friends,

It is this mentality of slavery that has denied Ramtva (essence of Ram) for so many years. Lord Ram is a value system in himself. From King Ram of Orchha, to devotee Ram of Rameshwaram, and from Lord Ram of Shabari, to guest Ram ji of Mithila, Ram is present in every home of India, in the heart of every Indian, and in every particle of India. But the mentality of slavery became so dominant that even Lord Ram started being declared imaginary.

Friends,

If we resolve to achieve complete freedom from mental slavery within the next ten years, then such a flame will be ignited, such confidence will grow, that no one will be able to stop India from achieving its dream of a developed India by 2047. India's foundation will be strong for the next thousand years only when we completely destroy Macaulay's project of slavery within the next ten years.

Friends,

The Ram Lalla temple complex in Ayodhya Dham is becoming more and more grand, and at the same time the work of beautifying Ayodhya is continuously going on. Today Ayodhya is once again becoming that city which will become an example for the world. The Ayodhya of the Treta Yuga gave humanity ethics, and the Ayodhya of the 21st century is giving humanity a new model of development. Back then, Ayodhya was the center of dignity, and now Ayodhya is emerging as the backbone of a developed India.

Friends,

There will be a confluence of mythology and novelty in the future Ayodhya. The nectar stream of Saryu ji and the stream of development will flow together. Here, a synergy of both spirituality and artificial intelligence will be seen. The Ram Path, the Path of Devotion, and the Janmabhoomi Path offer glimpses of the new Ayodhya. There is a grand airport in Ayodhya, today there is a magnificent railway station in Ayodhya. Trains like Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat Express are connecting Ayodhya with the rest of the country. Continuous work is going on to ensure that the people of Ayodhya get facilities and prosperity comes in their lives.

Friends,

Since the Pran Pratishtha, till date, approximately forty-five crore devotees have come here for darshan. This is the holy land where the footprints of forty-five crore people have fallen. This has brought about economic change and increased incomes for the people of Ayodhya and its surrounding areas. Once Ayodhya was far behind in the parameters of development, today the city of Ayodhya is becoming one of the leading cities of Uttar Pradesh.

Friends,

The coming times of the 21st century are very crucial. In the 70 years since independence, India became the 11th largest economy in the world. In the 70 years since independence, India became the 11th largest economy in the world. But in the last 11 years itself, India has become the fifth largest economy in the world. And the day is not far when India will also become the third largest economy in the world. The coming time is of new opportunities, of new possibilities. And even in this crucial period, the thoughts of Lord Ram will be our inspiration. When Shri Ram had a huge goal like defeating Ravana in front of him, then he had said- सौरज धीरज तेहि रथ चाका। सत्य सील दृढ़ ध्वजा पताका।। बल बिबेक दम परहित घोरे। छमा कृपा समता रजु जोरे।। That is, the chariot required to conquer Ravana has bravery and patience as its wheels. Its flag is of truth and good conduct. Strength, wisdom, restraint and charity are the horses of this chariot. Forgiveness, kindness and equality are the reins that keep the chariot in the right direction.

Friends,

To accelerate the journey towards a developed India, we need such a chariot, a chariot whose wheels are courage and patience. That means one should have the courage to face challenges and also the patience to stand firm until the results are achieved. Such a chariot whose flag is truth and supreme conduct, that is, there should never be any compromise with policy, intention and morality. Such a chariot whose horses are strength, discretion, restraint, and philanthropy, meaning that it possesses power, intelligence, discipline, and a concern for the welfare of others. A chariot whose reins are forgiveness, compassion and equanimity, that is, where there is no ego of success, and respect for others remains even in failure. And so, I respectfully say, this is the moment to stand shoulder to shoulder, this is the moment to accelerate. We have to create an India which is inspired by Ram Rajya. And this is only possible when the nation's interest comes before self-interest. When national interest will be paramount. Once again, I extend my best wishes to all of you.

Jai Siyaram!

Jai Siyaram!

Jai Siyaram!
