Rozgar Mela to be held on 24th October, 2025 at 11:00 AM

  1. India’s youth have shown their potential to the world in several fields like technology, education, sports, defence, skill development, etc. Recognising the powerful role of the youth in national development, the Hon’ble Prime Minister launched the series of Rozgar Mela on 22nd October 2022.
  2. Rozgar Mela exemplifies the commitment of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to accord highest priority to employment generation. Recruitment is being undertaken in mission-mode by various Ministries / Departments / Organisations across Central Government and Union Territories. Rozgar Melas are expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in nation building.
  3. The 17th Rozgar Mela will be held at 40 locations across the country in which more than 51,000 appointment letters will be distributed to the newly selected youth on 24th October, 2025 at 11.00 AM. In this Rozgar Mela, new recruits selected from across the country will be joining the Central Government in various Ministries / Departments / Organisations. Some of these Ministries / Departments / Organisations are as under:
    1. Department of Posts - Branch Postmaster, Assistant Branch Postmaster, Dak Sevak, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant.
    2. Ministry of Railways - Station Master, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk (CCTC), Accounts Clerk, Assistant Manager (Civil), Jr Engineer, Technician, Pharmacist.
    3. Ministry of Home Affairs - Constable (GD), Head Constable (GD), Sub Inspector (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces, Assistant Commandant (GD), Medical Officer (AC), Senior Medical Officer (DC).
    4. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare – Nursing officer, Assistant Professor, Senior Resident Doctor, Junior Resident Doctor, Hostel Warden, Lab Attendant, Hospital Attendant.
    5. Department of Higher Education - Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Registrar, Dy. Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Librarian, and other non-teaching posts.
    6. Department of Financial Services - Probationary Officers, Junior Associate.
    7. Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs):
      1. Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) – Officer Trainee, Junior Officer Trainee, Diploma Trainee.

 

      1. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation limited (HPCL) - Senior Officer, Junior Executive, Legal Officer, Management Trainee, Assistant Manager, Manager, R&D Officer.
      2. Coal India Limited (CIL) - General Assistant.
      3. Gas Authority of India Ltd. (GAIL) - Senior Engineer, Senior Officer, Chief Manager, Business Assistant, Junior Accountant, Accounts Assistant.
      4. Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) - Geologist, Geophysicist, Assistant Executive Engineer, Fire Officer.
  1. The newly recruited appointees are also getting an opportunity to train themselves through ‘Karmayogi Prarambh’, an online module on iGOT Karmayogi portal, where more than 3600 e-learning courses have been made available for ‘anywhere any device’ learning. This will provide a strong foundational training to the newly recruited appointees.
  2. The new appointees will be able to actively participate in nation building by joining their services / posts in various roles and are expected to play a significant role in improving citizen services, quality of service delivery, strengthening industrial, economic and social infrastructure in the country, thereby accelerating the development of VIKSIT BHARAT with their innovative ideas, skills, and participation in governance.

At Vadodara Rojgar Mela will be organized in the august presence of Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, Minister Communications and DoNER Govt. of India at Postal Training Centre, Harni Road, Vadodara.
