The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, in association with Annamalai University, conducted a Telecom Consumer Outreach Programme at Chidambaram on September 23, 2025, to create awareness among the telecom consumers about their rights and privileges. The programme saw the participation of a large number of students, staff, telecom consumers, representatives of telecom service providers and consumer forums.

Shri K.V. Suresh Babu, Joint Advisor, TRAI, RO, Hyderabad delivered the keynote address. He highlighted TRAI’s role in safeguarding the interests of consumers and urged the consumers to make use of the TRAI Apps- My Speed, Do Not Disturb and My CALL which help customers to rate the quality of Telecom services, speed, and performance.

Other prominent attendees included officials representing TRAI and Annamalai University.
