MY Bharat Gyalshing, in association with ITI Gyalshing, organised a successful workshop on Flagship Schemes at ITI Gyalshing on September 2, 2025. The engaging session drew enthusiastic trainees from ITI Gyalshing, fostering awareness and understanding of key government initiatives among the youth.

The workshop, launched as part of the AAP 2025-26 initiative, focused on the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban/Rural). Trainees presented their perspectives, and key resource persons, including Umang Gurung, Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban/Rural), Pema Kalden Bhutia, General Secretary of CWA, and Ronit Mukhia on behalf of MY Bharat Gyalshing, shared their expertise.

The program's objectives were to generate awareness and understanding among youth regarding major flagship government schemes, enable youth to become informed change agents and facilitators within their communities, promote youth participation and access to government benefits through informed engagement, and strengthen convergence between MY Bharat and line departments implementing flagship schemes.

India is implementing several flagship schemes aimed at improving the socio-economic well-being of its citizens. However, lack of awareness, misinformation, and limited capacity to access these schemes often result in suboptimal utilization, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas.

MY Bharat, with its grassroots presence, is uniquely positioned to bridge this gap through targeted awareness, outreach, and facilitation programs for youth and communities.

The program was successfully coordinated by Yashup Biswa, MSME. The event marked a significant step towards encouraging youth participation in nation-building, promoting democratic awareness, and empowering young leaders with the confidence to contribute to the country's progress.

Background:

MY Bharat is launching a new initiative titled “Workshops on Flagship Schemes” as part of AAP 2025–26. This initiative will enable district MY Bharat Kendras to conduct structured, informative, and participatory workshops focusing on centrally sponsored flagship programs that have direct relevance to youth, families, and communities.

Objectives
