In a significant step towards financial inclusion, a saturation camp was successfully organised at Tanshipur village, Roorkee by State Bank of India Mohanpura Branch in co-ordination with Gram Panchayat Tanshipur, as a part of the three months nationwide campaign launched by Department of Financial Services for Saturation of Financial Inclusion (FI) Schemes at Gram Panchayat (GP) & Urban Local Body (ULB) level in all districts from 1st July to 30th Sept 2025. 

 

The purpose of camp was opening of bank accounts under Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojna, Re-KYC of savings account, increasing enrolments under PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana,  updating nomination and spread awareness about digital fraud prevention. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 150 villagers.

The camp was visited by officials from SBI Administrative Office, Dehradun & Regional Business Office, Haridwar.

 

SBI plans to hold similar camps in the neighboring villages in the coming weeks, continuing its committment to inclusive growth and digital literacy.
