The UID Implementation Committee (UIDIC) meeting was held on 4th August 2025 at Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, under the chairmanship of Shri Pankaj Joshi, Chief Secretary, Government of Gujarat.

The meeting underscores UIDAI’s commitment to strengthening its operations and ensuring seamless delivery of Aadhaar-related services across the state. Shri Pankaj Joshi CS Gujarat interaction with the team emphasized the importance of continued efficiency and innovation in serving the citizens of state.

Senior officials from key State departments and representatives from UIDAI participated in the meeting. Discussions focused on Child Enrolment, Mandatory Biometric Updates, improving accessibility, ensuring authenticity, and integrating Aadhaar services to support governance and public service initiatives across the State. The review also covered Aadhaar-enabled services in Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) schemes and good governance programs.

The meeting further deliberated on UIDAI’s recent initiatives, including the Universal Client, SWIK Portal, Face Authentication, and the Aadhaar Application. The Chief Secretary urged all departments to proactively utilize these platforms to enhance service delivery and improve resident experiences.
