The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is conducting the third and final round of spot admissions for the academic year 2025-26. Vacancies are available at Dhenkanal campus in three postgraduate diploma programmes: 9 seats in Corporate Communication and Brand Management, 15 seats in English Journalism, and 14 seats in Odia Journalism.

Most of the vacant seats are in the Scheduled Caste (SC) category. Regional Director Prof. Anand Pradhan encouraged aspiring students from SC and other marginalized communities to apply and be part of the prestigious institution. He said, “IIMC Dhenkanal is committed to promoting inclusive media education and welcomes students from underrepresented communities.”

The institute is working closely with the SC and ST Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of Odisha, to facilitate scholarships and financial assistance for eligible students.
