Indian Railways has taken a significant step in improving rail connectivity to Hazur Sahib Nanded with the introduction and extension of key train services. To enhance passenger convenience, the 14621/14622 Firozpur – Hazur Sahib Nanded Express has been introduced, which began operations on 13th June 2025. This train is being operated via Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad)-Manmad. Further, it has also been decided to extend the services of 20706/20705 CSMT-Jalna Vande Bharat Express upto Hazur Sahib Nanded.

Moreover, Hazur Sahib Nanded is connected to Ahmedabad, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad), Manmad, Kalyan (Mumbai area) & Surat by 2, 21, 16, 5 & 2 pairs of train services respectively. Similarly, Hazur Sahib Nanded is connected to Hyderabad area by 21 pairs and to Amritsar by 2 pairs of train services. Among the 5 regular pairs of trains serving the Hazur Sahib Nanded – Mumbai sector, two key services – 17611/17612 Hazur Sahib Nanded – CSMT Rajya Rani Express and 17617/17618 Hazur Sahib Nanded – CSMT Tapovan Express – are operated via Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad), Manmad, and Kalyan.

Besides, introduction of train services, including Vande Bharat, and Amrit Bharat services and extension of services are  on-going processes on Indian Railways subject to traffic justification, operational feasibility, availability of resources etc.

Union Minister of Railways, Information & Broadcasting and Electronics & Information Technology, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw stated this in reply to an unstarred question by Shri Ashokrao Shankarrao Chavan in the Rajya Sabha today.
