In accordance with Article 151(2) of the Constitution of India, The Comptroller and Auditor General of India is required to forward his Audit Reports on the accounts of the Government of Tami Nadu to the Governor, who causes it to be laid on the table of State legislature.

Accordingly, the Audit Report of the Comptroller Auditor General of India for the year ended 31 March 2023 – Compliance Audit (Civil) – Government of Tamil Nadu, was handed over to the Governor of Tamil Nadu on 02 April 2025 for laying before the state legislature.
