He lauded India’s transformation from a major consumer market to a frontrunner on the world stage, with remarkable strides in innovation, research, and technological advancement. Shri Birla emphasized that Agra, in particular, has emerged as a vital cog in this thriving machine of national growth. He pointed out that industries in Agra—spanning handicrafts, leather, and textiles—are now standing tall in the international arena.
During his visit to Agra (UP), Shri Birla made these remarks at the 'Late Shri Dharmpal Vidyarthi Memorial Lecture Series,' organized by the National Chamber of Industries and Commerce, UP. He recognized Agra’s integral role in this technological renaissance, acknowledging the city’s potential for even greater growth with its blossoming manufacturing and innovation sectors.

He underscored the nation’s transformation from reliance on foreign defense and technology to a position of leadership in these critical fields, calling this shift a resounding testament to the nation's resilience and progress.

From its renowned leather goods to textiles, Agra has retained its revered place in the global market.
