The three-day exhibition, being organised under the patronage of Shri Sadanand  Tanavade, showcases pavilions by various organisations under the Central government such as Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Geological Survey of India (GSI), Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Government E Marketplace(GeM) Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Reserve Bank of India (RBI) etc.

Speaking at the inaugural session, Shri Sadanand  Tanavade, MP, said that the purpose of the exhibition was to bring to the public the good works being done by the government departments. “There are several schemes being brought out by Government of India through various departments. The public should be aware of all that. The government also thinks that the information regarding those schemes should reach the public so that they can make use of those opportunities which will eventually help us to achieve the goal of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat by 2047,” the MP said.

Shri Rohan Khaunte said that to achieve the mission of the Atmanirbhar Bharat, it is important what the Chief Minister of Goa always talks about – Swayampurn Goa - as it is important that information regarding the schemes and programs of the Central government reach the last mile. “The youth in Goa has to look beyond the employment opportunities in government sector. This kind of exhibitions will help them understand what is happening in the country and the opportunities that are open in front of them,” he said.

The exhibition, which is open for the public from 11:00 AM to 06:00 PM, will conclude on 25.01.2205.
