SAIL- Bhilai Steel Plant, conducts several public welfare activities as part of its organizational social responsibility towards the community in and around its areas of operations. The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Department of the Plant organized a one-day free Health Camp, at Kalwar village near Iron Ore Complex Rajhara Mines, on 07th January 2025.

A total of 120 individuals from Kalwar, availed of free health services at the day-long Health Camp. Free medicines were also distributed to individuals attending the camp.

The Medical Team from the CSR department, comprising, Medical Consultant, Nursing Staff for blood sugar, HB, and BP examination, and Pharmacist, volunteered their services for the Medical Camp at Kalwar.

It is noteworthy that conducting Health Camps is one of the prime initiatives, through which BSP’s CSR Department has contributed substantially towards Public Health and medicine. The CSR Department of Bhilai Steel Plant, conducts health camps from time to time in the adjoining areas or mines, to ensure adequate Medical and health facilities to the communities within which it works.
