The Press Information Bureau (PIB) Thiruvananthapuram is organizing a media tour to Gujarat from December 16 to 23, 2024. The tour features an all-women delegation of 10 journalists from prominent newspapers, print, and online platforms from Kerala.

The delegation will visit important locations such as the Bullet train project, Saradar Sarovar Dam,Statue of Unity and GIFT City, reflecting Gujarat’s advancements in infrastructure and financial innovation. The tour will also highlight the state’s cultural and historical richness by visiting heritage sites like Rani ki Vaav, the Sun Temple at Modhera, and Vadnagar.

Media representatives will pay a courtesy call on the Chief Minister of Gujarat and also get information about the state's development initiatives. They will also visit Kutch to experience the Rann Utsav at Dhordo and explore Dholavira, an important Indus Valley Civilization site. Other stops include Smritivan, the BSF Camp, and Anand to visit the Amul factory.

This tour offers the journalists from Kerala, an opportunity to gain firsthand insights into Gujarat’s development and heritage while fostering a broader understanding of national growth stories.
