Super Sunday brings a Feast of Flavors to the Food Court at Divya Kala Mela, India Gate

The 22nd Divya Kala Mela, organized by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, turned into a culinary paradise for Delhiites this Sunday. The vibrant Food Court at the event, hosted at India Gate in New Delhi, witnessed a confluence of flavors and cuisines, drawing large crowds eager to relish its offerings.
The Food Court boasts 20 stalls, including five run by Divyangjan (persons with disabilities), showcasing the entrepreneurial spirit of these individuals. The stalls present a delectable array of traditional and popular dishes from various states such as Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Maharashtra, Bihar, Rajasthan, and more.
Highlights include Morena's royal gajak, namkeen, papad chaat, golgappe, aloo tikki, scrumptious ram laddoo, litti-chokha, spiral potato, kala khatta, chuski, herbal-infused delicacies from Mitti Café, and the famous offerings of NKB Sharnam Delhi.
The Food Court has become a major attraction, creating an irresistible blend of flavors that celebrates India's rich culinary heritage while providing a platform for inclusivity and empowerment.
Under the theme ‘Empowered Divyangjan’, the Mela is being held from 12th to 22nd December 2024, from 11 AM to 9 PM, at India Gate. Adding to the festive spirit, daily cultural performances are captivating visitors and enhancing the charm of this grand event. Experience the joy of flavors and culture at Divya Kala Mela – a celebration of talent, diversity, and empowerment.
