Under the Pilot Project of the World’s Largest Grain Storage Plan in Cooperative Sector, godowns at PACS level have been constructed in 11 PACS of 11 States namely Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Assam, Telangana, Tripura and Rajasthan, with the support of  National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC), National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) & NABARD Consultancy Services (NABCONS), the details of which is enclosed at Annexure- I.

Under the plan, PACS can also establish cold chain infrastructure including cold storage units, pack houses, refrigeration vans, etc. for supply of fruits and vegetables produced in the villages under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH).

 

   The Pilot Project has been extended and more than 500 additional PACS were identified as on 21.11.2024 across the country. The State-wise details of the same are attached at Annexure-II.

 

    The State of Haryana has identified 11 PACS willing to participate in the project, the district-wise details of which are as under:
