Regional Passport Officer, Chennai  Shri S. Vijayakumar IFS, will hold additional charge of the Head of Branch Secretariat, Chennai of the Ministry of External Affairs.

Shri. S. Vijayakumar has assumed additional charge as the Head of MEA Branch Secretariat, Chennai succeeding Shri. S. Koventhan, IFS. He is an IFS officer of 2016 batch and had served in the Indian Embassies in Rome, Kabul and Doha. He is currently serving as Regional Passport Officer Chennai, since 02 September 2024. He is alumnus of College of Engineering Guindy, Chennai.
