In celebration of World Standards Day 2024, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Mumbai Branch Office-II, hosted a Treasure Hunt Competition in collaboration with Pillai College of Engineering, New Panvel. The event aimed to spread awareness about BIS and the various standards used in laboratory equipment.

The competition saw enthusiastic participation from students, who were selected through a quiz. The chosen candidates were given a series of clues based on various standards, leading them on an exciting treasure hunt across the campus.

Shri. T. Arjun, Joint Director of Mumbai Branch Office-II, BIS,Dr. S. M. Joshi, Principal of Pillai College of Engineering  along with Dr. Arun Pillai and Dr. Surabhi were present at the event. The event concluded with the recognition of the top four winning teams, who collectively received a prize for their outstanding performance in the treasure hunt. This successful collaboration between BIS and Pillai College not only fostered awareness among students but also underscored the significance of standards in various fields.
