Mumbai, 13^th September 2024

Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) has initiated the preparatory phase of Special Campaign 4.0. All Constituent Units/Public Sector Undertakings/Aided Institutions of DAE have been instructed to nominate Nodal Officers in their respective Units/PSUs/AIs to monitor the progress regarding Special Campaign 4.0

All Constituent Units/PSUs/AIs have been instructed to identify realistic targets for making the Special Campaign 4.0 a huge success.

During the period November 2023- August 2024, DAE has reviewed 20,480 files. A total of 11,120 files have been weeded out during the same period.  A revenue of Rs 2,49,05,142/- was generated.

Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC), a Constituent Unit of DAE, organised a Beach Trek Route Clean-Up Programme to create mass awareness to conserve coastal ecology, during the month of December 2023.Efforts are being made by the Department to adopt new and best practices for Special Campaign 4.0.
