39 Speacial Guests from Gujarat to Join 78th Independence Day Celebrations at Red Fort in New Delhi


Diverse Group of Invitees, Including Drone Didis, Asha/ ANM Workers, and Beneficiaries of Government Schemes, to Witness National Celebration

Gujarat is set to make its mark on the 78th Independence Day celebrations in New Delhi, with 39 special guests from the state invited to witness the national celebration on August 15. This diverse group of individuals includes Drone Didis, Asha/ ANM workers, students from Eklavya Model Residential Schools, and beneficiaries of the Aspirational District Program.

The invited guests have expressed their gratitude to the government for inviting them to witness the national celebration from Delhi.

Among the invitees is Patel Happy, a 'Drone Didi' from Gandhinagar, who expressed her pride and happiness in being invited to attend the flag hoisting ceremony. "I am very happy and proud to be invited to attend the flag hoisting on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day," she said.

Chawda Vilasben, a resident of Kheda district and a beneficiary of Lakhpati Didi, is another invitee who is excited to participate in the event. "I am very excited to participate in the event and thank the Government of India for inviting me," she said.

The Government of India has invited over 6,000 special guests from across the country to participate in the celebrations of this year's Independence Day under the theme Viksit Bharat.
