There is a special magnificence of worshiping Lord Shiva in the holy month of Savan. Everyone has a wish that he can have a glimpse of the Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva and get his blessings. Now such devotees need not to be disappointed. Through the Speed Post service of the Department of Posts, people can get the offerings (Prasadam) of Shree Somnath Adi Jyotirlinga Temple located in Prabhas Patan, Junagadh, Gujarat, at their door steps sitting at home in any corner of the country. In the month of Savan, Postal Department has made special arrangements for this. The above information was given by Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General of Ahmedabad Head Quarter Region.

Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav told that Shree Somnath Trust has entered into an agreement with the Postal Department to provide doorstep offerings to the devotees. Under this agreement, any devotee can order Prasad through Speed Post by making an e-Money Order of Rs. 270/- to the Manager, Shree Somnath Trust, Prabhas Patan, District- Junagadh, Gujarat-362268. This e-money order will have to be marked as "Booking for Prasad". After that, a packet of 400 grams of Prasad will be sent by Speed Post to the concerned devotee by Shri Somnath Trust.

Prasad will contain 200 grams Magas Laddoo, 100 grams of Sesame Chikki and 100 grams peanut Chikki. This Prasad will be promptly delivered at the doorstep of the devotee through Speed Post said Mr. Yadav.
