National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, is hosting Spectrum 2024, an annual festival from April 2024 known for its blend of culture, creativity, and innovation.

Prof. Dr. Sameer Sood said that the theme for this year's event is "कौतुक" (Kautuk), signifying marvel and wonder. The festival features various events organized by various clubs, each designed to showcase the talents and intellectual prowess of the student community.
The Environment Club hosts events like the Treasure Hunt, which encourages teamwork and intelligence. The Climate Change Speak Out platform raises awareness and inspires action towards sustainability. The Cultural Club offers artistic competitions like the Styling Competition and dance competitions, while the Music Department celebrates musical talent with the Battle of Bands, Junk Music, and Solo Singing - Melomania.
The Literary Club offers events like AD MAD, DEBATE IT, QUIZ IT!!, BOOKSTALL, REFLECTIVE CANVAS, and BLACKOUT POETRY, offering platforms for creativity, knowledge, and debate. Sports enthusiasts participate in competitions in Volleyball, Basketball, Chess, Carrom, Futsal, Badminton, and Table Tennis. The Ethics & Social Service Club adds a unique touch with Face Painting, NUKKAD NATAK, and the innovative Pop Your Insecurity Game.

The crown jewel of Spectrum 2024 is the Fashion Showcase, which invites participants to create groundbreaking garments from unconventional materials. This event is not just a fashion show but also a celebration of audacity, talent, and vision that sets the stage for future trends.

As Spectrum 2024 unfolds under the theme of "कौतुक," it promises to be a confluence of creativity, intellect, athleticism, environmental consciousness, and social responsibility.
