The Office of the Additional Director General of Foreign Trade, Nagpur, under Ministry of Commerce and Industry will host -Niryat Mahotsav which is going to be held on 12th March 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Convention Centre, situated at New Indora, Nagpur. It is a culmination of the District as Export Hub Drive in 49 districts covering the states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh which was conducted from July 2023 to Feb 2024.The depts./organisations associated with this Mega Event NIRYAT MOHATSAV are India Post, Bank of Maharashtra, Forest Dept, Tourism Dept, VANAMATI, Agriculture Dept., Horticulture Dept., MAVIM, Dept. of Tribal Development Nagpur, Export Promotion Council- APEDA, Spice Board, EEPC, Plexconcil, Indian Silk Export Promotion Council, ECGC and Amazon Global. The Director General of Foreign Trade Shri. Santosh Kumar Sarangi, IAS will deliver the opening remarks during the event virtually. This event marks a significant milestone in the journey towards fostering a robust export ecosystem.

The focus of this Mega Event is to increase the exports from the 49 districts spread over the states of Vidarbha region of Maharashtra and also Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh which includes Agricultural and Horticulture products, Minor Forest produce, Engineering goods, pharma products, plastic products, defence products, electronic items, mines and minerals, tourism etc.

In this Event, DGFT officials and other organisations would explain in detail the import and export procedures and schemes and the documentation. The ODOP products from the districts as well as other products having export potential will be showcased at exhibition stalls in the event.

We cordially invite all the FPOS, industry associations, entrepreneurs, Women SHGS,, Handicraft artisans and members of various industrial organizations to grace this occasion and actively participate in shaping the export landscape of Vidarbha region and to understand the dynamics of import and export.
