In a strategic move towards building an Aatmanirbhar Bharat, HQ Southern Command has forged a groundbreaking collaboration with the Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (MCCIA), Indian Institute of Science, Education and Research (IISER) and Army Institute of Technology (AIT) and Strategic Research and Growth Foundation.  This collaboration gives rise to the Aatmanirbhar Centre of Excellence in Pune (ACEP), an initiative aimed at addressing the evolving needs of the Defence Industry.

 

The ACEP has been envisioned to serve as a pivotal hub of research and innovation within the Defence sector. By bringing together the expertise of Industry and Academia, HQ Southern Command aims to address current challenges, enhance technological capabilities, and contribute to the overall self-reliance and strategic autonomy of the Defence Industry.
